Just show up
putting yourself in the room
February 19, 2026
Hey.
Adam here again.
Another speaker we’ve got joining us for our Built for More event this spring is Brian Genuser.
Before I get into him, quick confession.
I used to kind of knock business coaches. To be fair… there are a lot of internet weirdos promising seven figures from a laptop who’ve never actually built anything.

So I kept my distance.
Then awhile back I got invited to an event by the crew at Ten Thousand. I almost didn’t go. Travel, time, excuses. The usual.
I’m really glad I went. The ripple effect from that one room has been wild. Met a guy. That turned into a client. That connection led me to Brian.
But here’s the real part.
One of the speakers at that Ten Thousand event asked something that sat heavy with me:
Are you actually living up to your potential?
Not in a motivational poster way. In a quiet, honest way. That question stuck.
I’ve always felt like I’m getting after it. Business. Fitness. Life. But I left that event realizing I needed to invest in myself differently.
I got Brian’s contact info. Then I did what most of us do. Sat on it. For way too long.
Then one day I just decided, screw it. Today’s the day. Brian has been my coach the last few months.
Absolute game changer.
For context, he’s worked with brands like Vans, Adidas, and Oakley. He’s spent 20 years around world-class athletes, artists, and leaders. His whole thing is unlocking confidence, creativity, and exponential performance. Btw – also a dad.

But here’s how I’d describe it.
He’s helped me lay out a real roadmap. Clarify where I actually want to go. And raise my own standard. And this is coming from someone who already thought he was pushing pretty hard.
On one of our first calls he said…
“You’re the artist. I’m the producer.”
That hit. I don’t need someone to run my life. I need someone in the room helping me shape the work.
That’s why Brian is coming. Not to pitch you coaching.
But to talk about performance. Focus. Standards. And what it looks like to stop operating at 70 percent when you know you’re capable of more.
Built for More is about that.
Putting yourself in rooms that sharpen you. Investing in yourself without turning into a self-help robot. Raising your bar quietly.
Charleston. 2.5 days. April 30–May 2. Workouts. Sauna. Beach. Good food. Real conversations.
Priced right. You just have to show up. Early bird pricing is still on the table.
If you’re even thinking about it, read more and lock in your spot here.
Cheers,
Adam
PS: If you’re on the fence, I’m happy to hop on a quick call. Snag a time here.
PPS: Some dads are making this a long weekend with the family. We start at 8am and wrap around 5pm each day. Plenty of time outside the sessions.
